Casting That Cares
Hi everyone! My name is Kelly Moscinski, the Owner & Head of Casting here at The Voicecaster. I'm here to share with you my story to allow you a glimpse into my background and the reason I do what I love!
I originally went to college for Pre-Med to be a Psychiatrist. After finding my passion was in English (writing) and Theatre (directing), I switched my major to Education before I eventually followed my heart and got my degree in Theatre. Now, many people questioned what I might do with my life. I won't lie, I questioned what I was doing, too; but I also knew I didn't have a Plan B because so often we fall back on Plan B and I knew I *needed* to pursue Plan A. I wasn't taking "no" for an answer!
After moving to Los Angeles in 2009, I ended up with The Voicecaster. I somehow fell into this amazing industry and knew it was where I belonged from my first day. In 2013, when I took over as the 3rd owner of this iconic company, I knew I not only wanted to live my dream, but help others achieve theirs.
That is what I aim for on a daily basis. I work with actors on their auditions, offer 1-on-1 private coaching, teach live group classes, seminars, and intensives, and offer feedback and consults to anyone who reaches out.
Voiceover is a collaborative industry that works best when we all work together. I want to do my job well which also means I want you (the voice actor) to be able to do your job well, too.
I offer my training and workshops to help people realize that their dreams of being a voice actor are within reach. I have worked with so many actors who went on to book their first job with us, and then on to work full time in the VO industry. By succeeding in their dream job, they have found satisfying fulfilment of their passion, financial freedom, and a type of happiness that not everyone gets in life.
I love working with each and every person who crosses my path.
